Wearing a brand new, white velvet, ring jacket, Sean Evans came to Freddie Young with an ultimatum: either LRW Wrestling goes forward with the Velvet Mafia tag team concept, or Sean leaves the federation!!!
At first Freddie balked, thinking that the tag team would feature his old nemesis, Hayden Beaulieu. However, Sean explained that he had found a new tag team partner -- a young man from Ellington, Connecticut (just a 15 minute drive from the LRW Wrestling compound) named Austin LeGrand!!!
Clad in a stunning, navy blue, velvet ring jacket, Austin (LRW's first competitor born under the sign of Taurus) made his entrance in a typically raucous manner and began to discuss his background. Austin's regular profession is in the field of Human Services, but he models in his part time. Some of Austin's credentials include work for L'Oréal Paris USA at their New York Office, Connecticut's International Institute of Cosmetology, and Eclectica Magazine (one of the oldest surviving online literary publications).
Off-camera, Austin also told us that he holds "super-spiritual beliefs," that he considers himself to be a "radical feminist" and that he wants to "tear down the system." Obviously, this outspoken young man is destined to make a lasting impression wherever he goes, and LRW Wrestling will be no exception!!!
As viewers of LRW Wrestling Video #10 already know, Sean Evans defeated newcomer Adam Nowak to earn a shot at the LRW Wrestling Super-Star Championship currently held by Fratboy Francis Franklin aka "Triple F." The fact that Sean is now dedicating himself to tag team wrestling will not hinder that goal in the least.
In our next video presentation, the Velvet Mafia will take on Fratboy Francis Franklin and a mystery partner (if he can find one). If either member of the Velvet Mafia pins "Triple F" (or makes him submit) that wrestler will become the new LRW Wrestling Super-Star Champion!!! Furthermore, this match will be a special "no disqualification" match, so "Triple F" will not be able to save his title via an intentional disqualification (as he has done several times in the past). Lastly, if "Triple F" cannot find a tag team partner, he will have to defend the title against the Velvet Mafia in a 2-on-1 handicap match!!!
The stipulations of the upcoming contest put our controversial champion in a bind, to say the least. Will the wily fratboy be able to save his title with his patented brand of ingenious skullduggery, or will one of the charismatic members of the Velvet Mafia emerge triumphant? Keep checking on this blog to stay abreast of all the upcoming developments!!!
(NOTE: Our Locker Room page has been updated to reflect the addition of Austin LeGrand to the roster, plus the addition of the Velvet Mafia tag team.)
